A Dhaka court has fixed August 31 for bail hearing in the case filed against actress Pori Moni with Banani Police Station under Narcotics Control Act.

Judge K M Imrul Kayes of Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge passed the order on Sunday (August 29).

Public Prosecutor of the concerned court Taposh Kumar Pal confirmed the matter.

He said, “On August 22, Pori Moni’s lawyer filed a petition with Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge Court seeking bail. The court fixed September 13 for hearing. Later, the lawyer went to the high court regarding the date of bail. On Sunday (August 29), the judge fixed August 31 for the bail hearing to Pori Moni.”
