Former umpire of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Afzalur Rahman Masum died of heart attack at his residence in the city on Wednesday morning.

He was a member of Bangladesh Cricket Umpires and Scholars Association.

His namaz-e-janaza will be held at DOHS Jamia Mosque at Mohakhali in the city after Asar prayer.

He will be buried at Azimpur Graveyard.
