Eoin Morgan’s Kolkata Knight Riders defeat KL Rahul-led Punjab Kings by 5 wickets at Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad on Monday.

Rahul Tripathi top-scored with 41 off 32 balls while Morgan contributed with an unbeaten 47 off 40 deliveries as KKR chased down a target of 124 runs with 20 balls to spare.

Earlier, Prasidh Krishna picked three wickets while Pat Cummins and Sunil Narine scalped two wickets apiece as Kolkata Knight Riders restricted Punjab Kings to a 123 for 9 after opting to bowl at Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad.

For Punjab, Mayank Agarwal top-scored with 31 off 34 balls and Chris Jordan contributed with an 18-ball 30.
