Bangladesh reach final in Archery World Cup

Bangladeshi archers Ruman Shana and Diya Siddiqui reached the final of recurve mixed event at the Archery World Cup stage-2 at Lausanne, Switzerland on Thursday (May 20).

Ruman Shana and Diya Siddiqui beat Canadian team in the semifinal by 5-3 and will take on the Nederland team in the final scheduled to be held at 3:30pm on Sunday (May 23).

The pair faced a stern contest in the quarter final round as it ended on 5-4 set. Earlier in the first round, the pair beat Iran 5-3 before beating Germany by 5-1 in the second round.
