How long will Bangladesh maintain for quarantine in Zimbabwe? It was the most important question after finalising the schedule of the tour as playing a warm-up match before the Test depends on the answer to the question. Finally, the answer was Tigers will have to stay in quarantine just for a day.
The host Zimbabwe Cricket Board has agreed to reduce the quarantine time. So, Bangladesh will be able to play a two-day warm-up match before the Test starts on July 7.
According to the schedule, Bangladesh will touch down in Zimbabwe on June 29. The next day, June 30 will be in quarantine. Then, everything will be normal.
They will start their practice from July 1 in Bio-Bubble.
“We will have to maintain a one-day quarantine and then (from July 1) we will be able to resume our normal activities,” said Akram Khan, BCB Cricket’s managing chairman.
Bangladesh are visiting Zimbabwe to play a full series. After a Test, they will play three ODIs and as many T20s.
