A fire broke out at an electronics factory in Sonargaon area of Narayanganj.

The fire originated at Kongka battery factory in Mugdapara around 11:00am on Sunday (January 3).

Six firefighting units are working to douse the blaze.

Arefin Siddiqui, deputy director at the Narayanganj Fire Service and Civil Defense, confirmed the news.

Reasons behind the fire could not be known and damages caused by the fire could not be determined immediately, he said.
