Timings of transactions in commercial banks have been rescheduled from 10:00am to 1:00pm for next two days.

According to a circular issued by the Bangladesh Bank on Sunday, the public transactions will take place as per new schedule on Monday and Tuesday.

However, the banks will remain open till 3:00pm, said the Off-site Supervision Department of Bangladesh Bank.

The central bank has issued the directive exercising its authority vested by Section 45 of the Bank Company Act 1991 taking the prevailing Covid-19 situation into account.
