The government has extended the ongoing holiday of all educational institutions across the country till June 30.

The education ministry issued a circular in this regard on Saturday.

According to the circular, local administrations have imposed strict lockdown in different parts of the country to stem the spread of Covid-19 amid the fear of Indian variant of the virus. Due to this situation, the holiday of all educational institutions including secondary and higher secondary educational institutions and madrasas has been extended till June 30.

Earlier, the government extended the closure of all education institutions till June 12.
