The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations will begin in the second week of November and Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations in the first week of December.
Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni disclosed this at a virtual press conference around 11.00am on Thursday (July 15).
She said SSC and HSC examinations will be evaluated through assignments. They have to complete syllabus through assignments. If it is not possible to take exams, results will be prepared through assignments and subject mapping. Then a decision will be made about that.
She said SSC candidates have to complete 24 assignments and HSC candidates have to complete 30 assignments. Teachers of their respective educational institutions will evaluate them. Then they will be re-evaluated.
Deputy Minister for Education Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Nowfel, Secretary of the Department of Secondary and Higher Education Md Mahbub Hossain, Secretary of the Department of Technical and Madrasa Aminul Islam Khan and heads of all education boards were present.
