Prominent actor Abdul Kader has been laid to eternal rest at Banani graveyard in the capital, family said.

He was buried around 5.35pm after his second Namaz-e-Janaza at the mosque adjacent to the graveyard. Earlier, the body was kept at Shilpakala premises around 3:00pm in the capital’s Segunbagicha area for showing respect.

The actor, who was also diagnosed with stage IV cancer, was shifted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) from Coronavirus-unit of the hospital after his health condition had deteriorated on Thursday (December 24) night.

He breathed his last at Apollo Hospitals Dhaka at 8:20am on Saturday (December 26) while undergoing treatment.
